Turmeric Quinoa Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ancient Harvest Traditional Quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 tablespoon turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 lemon squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil, then add the quinoa and reduce to a simmer for about 15 minutes or until water is evaporated. Remove from heat.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, salt, pepper and turmeric, then cover to steam for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Fluff with a fork and serve with sweet potatoes, avocado and soft boiled egg.
