Quinoa Breakfast

It’s 6 a.m., you have just a little bit of “me” time before the kiddos are up and at ‘em, and you’re in need of some power foods to tackle this day head on and with all of your energy. What do you turn to? Ancient grains of course! They are packed with plant powered protein as well as fiber to keep you full even after the last munchkin is dropped off at school and then you’re on to your list of to-do’s.

There are many ways to enjoy this early morning meal and none of them involve flavorless food. You’re deserving of delicious and filling fuel, so we put together a few of our favorite ways to spoon in some protein to get the day started right:

  1. Banana Quinoa Porridge (pictured above)
  2. Warm Chocolate Quinoa Cereal
  3. Quinoa Oatmeal with Walnuts and Pumpkin Seeds
  4. Quinoa Flakes with Goji Berries, Chia Seed, Peanut Butter and Fresh Strawberries!
  5. Quinoa Granola
